A variety of other technology can be used in combination with microfabrication technology to provide more control, lower cost and/or faster prototyping. At UHNF, we understand the limitations of our equipment and believe in using the right tool for the job.
Vacuum Oven
A vacuum oven provide a controlled environment to heat treat a material.
UV Ozone Cleaning
UV light decomposes some of the oxygen in the air to produce ozone, a powerful oxidizer. Ozone is used for cleaning or stripping organic materials such as solvent residues or photoresist.
Rapid Thermal Processor
A rapid thermal processor heats up a silicon wafer to up to 1,000 [°C] within several seconds. The heating chamber can be filled with various gases such as air, oxygen, nitrogen or argon.
